The Center is a 501(c)(3) homeless services organization that serves unhoused folks in Los Angeles, but primarily in the Hollywood area.

There are few places where people experiencing homelessness can relax and socialize in this city – They are often kicked out of public spaces, and recent ordinances even criminalize sleeping on the sidewalks.

By design, homeless service agencies focus on ending the experience of homelessness, but The Center believes you can’t solve homelessness without also addressing isolation. The Center’s wellness programming promotes social connection and well-being by being a low-barrier, inclusive space for anyone to feel welcome and feel safe. 

The Day Center groups range from mindfulness to art to substance use recovery to karaoke. The Center also provide mail service to nearly 400 people and a phone charging station.

Simply put, we connect people to community, healthcare, and housing with dignity.
